Project Management and Staffing
The success of any project is dependant upon the staff assigned and the coordination and management of the project. We recommend a two tier project management approach.

First, a steering committee of executive and senior team members should be established. The steering committee will have authority to make policy and funding decisions. Your company should assign a project manager who has the responsibility and authority for the completion of day-to-day project activities.

Second, the project team is composed of the key managers, staff and consultants who will work on the various project tasks. This team will have all the business experts from your staff and the appropriate module experts from our consulting staff. Generally, this team combines end users, financial controllers and IT staff members who will be involved throughout the project’s duration.

A project coordinator will be appointed from Second Foundation. The responsibilities for this role are:


•	Coordinate with Second Foundation staff at project site.
•	Ensure excellent communication and project status you're your project manager.
•	Ensure timely completion of tasks assigned to consulting staff.
•	Escalate and expedite critical issues and task slippages as required.

The project manager will be the chairman of the steering committee. The steering committee will have authority to make policy decisions. The chairman will determine on a meeting-by-meeting basis, who will participate in the steering committee.
